Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. As a teen, Rosalia has explored the fringes of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the voice of the new artist as sharp with sweetness however with a bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning a Grammy. In 2021, the single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. It was her third studio album. Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with a variety of producers and artists such as Cory Henry and James Blake. The album came out in 2022 as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the very first Spanish artist to perform solo on the show. Motomami was the sole female in the history of music to be a winner of the Latin Album of the Year two times, and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
